I’m such a fucking idiot.

I dropped my iPod touch in the toilet at work today. It surprisingly still worked, only the backlight wouldn’t come on. When I got home I went online and saw that people who had had similar experiences removed the front glass plate in order to get the backlight to work again. I did that and it worked! I was so psyched! But after I put the glass plate back on I noticed that there was some dust caught underneath and being the anal retentive person I am I had to take the glass plate off again to wipe off the dust. Cue to me scratching the LCD, rendering the touch screen unusable. 

Long story short, I broke my iPod and it’s going to cost me almost $300 to replace it. On the plus side, the new one I just ordered has a camera, which my old one lacked. But still. THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Ugh, I hate today so much. It can die in a big ball of flames.
